First year (2023-2024)
As part of our efforts to inform and disseminate knowledge, we have undertaken several key actions. Notably, we presented the SIMPLE-IT and SIMPLE-G IT models to the Purdue University Research Team, providing an international platform for sharing our methodologies and findings. Additionally, we participated in the AIEAA 2024 conference, where we presented our national hydro-economic model for macroscale analysis, contributing to the broader discourse on economic and environmental sustainability. We also engaged with the academic community at the ESEE-Degrowth 2024 Conference in Pontevedra, further disseminating our research outcomes and fostering scholarly exchange. Moreover, Distefano Tiziano represented our project at the "Fairness and Wellbeing in a Dematerialized Economy" workshop organized by the University of Pisa, highlighting the socio-ecological aspects of our work. These activities underscore our commitment to sharing knowledge, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, and engaging with diverse stakeholders to advance water management practices.
